At CANA Craft Cannabis, we believe every person deserves the opportunity to live a full, meaningful life. That's why we're proud to support M.O. L.I.F.E., Inc. — an organization in Fairhaven doing transformative work for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
CANA has donated to M.O. L.I.F.E., Inc. as part of our $60,000 community giving program across Norton, Fairhaven, and New Bedford in 2025.
M.O. L.I.F.E. stands for Murphy and Others Living Interdependently for Future Endeavors — and the name tells you everything about their philosophy. This isn't about charity. It's about interdependence, dignity, and building a future together.
Located at 43 Daniel Street in Fairhaven, M.O. L.I.F.E. is dedicated to providing exceptional support for individuals with developmental disabilities across the SouthCoast. Their services span the areas that matter most for a full life:
The people M.O. L.I.F.E. serves aren't just clients — they're community members with stories, talents, and personalities. People like Joshua, who works at Walmart and loves going on trips. James, an entrepreneur who builds and sells furniture. Brian, who serves on the Human Rights Committee and lights up every room with his smile. Ebony, who participates in trips and local events with infectious enthusiasm.
These are the stories that make M.O. L.I.F.E. more than a service provider — they're a family.
CANA's contribution supports M.O. L.I.F.E.'s mission of enhancing lives through career development, housing, and community inclusion. This funding helps sustain the programs that give individuals the tools, training, and support they need to live as independently as possible — and to be fully included in the community around them.
Whether it's funding a day program, supporting a job coach, or stocking the food pantry, every dollar helps M.O. L.I.F.E. continue its vital work.
"M.O. L.I.F.E. does something that's easy to talk about but hard to do well — they make sure that every person, regardless of ability, has a real shot at living a full life. The individuals they support are our neighbors, and they deserve every opportunity to participate in and contribute to this community. We're honored to play a small part in that work."
